The Executive Office of the President is a set of agencies pertaining to the executive branch of the federal government, and provides support to the President to govern; it was created in 1939 under the Reorganization Act.
This entity was recommended by a presidential panel of experts known at that time as "The Brownlow Committee" during the 2nd term of the Roosevelt administration.
