now,                            

1 g of 0 and the compounds are 1.22 g, 2.44 g, and 4.89 g of K

1 g of o = 1.22 g of K

and                                                  

1.22 x 2 = 2.44 g of K          

1.22 x 4 = 4.89 g of K              

or we can compare the ratio

2.44/1.22 = 2    and                            

4.89/2.44 = 2  

hence,                                                

the reading of K is in whole-number multiple of each other.
