The severity of chromosomal abnormalities in these two chromosome are unequal that are equal in length and size but unequal in gene number are because the gene number are different from one another. If the size of gene increase or decrease from the normal range then it will leads to chromosomal abnormalities in the cell so the cells that has normal gene number has normal chromosome as compared to those cells where abnormal gene is present so the chromosomes are abnormal.
