A rectangular field measures 240 ft by 100 ft. Part of the lawn is torn up to install a walk of uniform width around it. The area of the new field is​ one-half the area of the old. How wide is the​ walk?

The if the length is 120 then the width could be 100 but if the length is 100 then the width would be 120. I hope this helped ^^
The area of the old field was 2400 sqft and half of that is 1200 sqft so the walk is 1200 sqft.
