The doctor advised Yiwen to wear slippers instead of covered shoes.
Explain how wearing slippers helps to reduce the growth of fungus on the feet

Fungus grows best in dark wet places where the sun does not shine... Therefore the sun would most likely discourage growth of fungus!
When your feet get wet and stays on the feet for to long it gets fungus or mold on it.
